The closeness and long-term relationships make Libya a natural market for Italy. Waiting for a future for this nation, we must not forget the great liquidity of its economy given by the production of oil & gas. Its banking system has survived the years of conflict: this is demonstrated by the fact that Libyan documentary credits continue to be issued and confirmed by European institutes (Unicredit bank is partly Libyan property).
